the best gift ever

ever thought of doing pregnancy announcements? maybe something more than just the jar of prego sauce in the kitchen?

i have! for a long time, actually. when laura said she was expecting i was over the moon, because WOW, just look at her. then she told me her due date...

i'm still giddy, and the fun has just begun....

i think this might be one of my best bellies ever. this mama was so cool and she let me have creative freedom and look what we came up with! i'm giddy. i had to share this first shot of the photo collage they put in their nursery for their daughter. an entire wall of black and white family photos in some really cool frames. i was really drawn to this shot of her with her mom when she was brand new. the circle of life....

i wanted to get a good shot of a pelican for a gift for a friend and this first shot was exactly what i was hoping for. it looked amazing on a canvas.
